So the student art show at the college didn't go as planned so I'm stuck with 6 oil paintings ranging from 24x30" and 30x36" although my final painting (a self portratit) is not yet pictured - I don't believe anyone would want that anyway haha. Canvases were all student built and framed for the show and I believe the best way to hang them is either by several long and sturdy nails so the wood can rest on the part of the nail that protrudes (maybe an inch or an inch and a half) or screws with picture wire wrapped them place on the mid-top left and right areas then hung accordingly. I started to hang them in my room but I quickly realized I didn't have the wall space or the time and since then they've been resting against my wall since the end of the semester. Here are a few thumbnails of the 5 works I do have pictures of:
Assignment: Choice; "The Run", 30x36", Oil on canvas - [link]
Assignment: Master copy; "Red Gladiola in White Vase (O'Keefe)", 30x36", Oil on canvas - [link]
Assignment: Fruit or vegetable; "Cool Citrus", 24x30", Oil on canvas - [link]
Assignment: Still life; "Evening Appetite", 24x30", Oil on canvas - [link]
Assignment: Abstract; "Caution", 24x30", Oil on canvas - [link]
Please PM me if you are interested in purchasing any of these works or if you'd like a larger preview of any of them.
Much thanks!
